A circular walk starting from and returning to Skipsea Village Hall. The walk will use footpaths and lanes to explore the area surrounding Skipsea and Skipsea Brough, which will include the site of the ancient mere and the castle. The footpaths will also take us to the cliffs and onto the beautiful beaches of the Holderness coastline. Although the area is mostly flat the terrain can sometimes be difficult in wet weather and rutted in dry weather, it is therefore not suitable for wheelchairs or push chairs. Dogs are welcome if well behaved as there are some sheep and cows in the area of the walk. Refreshments will be available at the beginning of the walk and at the end. There are no toilet facilities on the walk.
